Here’s to a new year and a new product roundup! We had an exciting end of the year that included new features and new integrations. Keep reading to learn what were up to the last quarter of 2017.
New Salesforce App
We’re now in the Salesforce AppExchange! This means our customers can use the Formstack product inside their Salesforce organization. The Formstack Salesforce app is the top-rated form builder in the AppExchange. The native app allows you to create your forms directly in Salesforce, so there’s no need to set up any integrations or connectors. Use the Salesforce app to build Web-to-Anything forms and get your data into Salesforce quickly and easily. New Smartsheet Integration
We’ve added another integration to help our users streamline processes. Formstack users can now integrate with Smartsheet, a product management and productivity tool. This new integration lets users pass information collected on their Formstack form into their Smartsheet sheet.
With the Formstack Smartsheet integration, you can:
- Create customized forms with advanced form styling and conditional logic features
- Automatically update Smartsheet projects using Formstack submission data
- Easily notify team members with our data routing feature when Formstack submission data is added to a Smartsheet

Additional Updates
WCAG Compliance
Formstack is committed to creating a product that is accessible to all users. We were recently audited by a third-party vendor and reached Level AA of WCAG 2.0. What does this mean? In short, our forms and product are compatible with assistive technology, such as screen readers. If you’re interested in learning more about our WCAG 2.0 compliance, you can do so here.
Collect Submissions from Users
Formstack trialers can now collect submissions from external parties (i.e., those who are not Formstack users on their account). This change lets our trialers better test their Formstack account and allows them to easily verify if Formstack meets their needs.
Trial Our Add-ons
We’ve also given trialers the ability to test an add-on when they sign up for their account. New trialers can now select any of our add-ons when they sign up for a free 14-day trial. Our sales team will work with them to get the add-on set up in their account, so they can easily test out its functionality.

Those are just a few of the many things we accomplished to closeout 2017. We’ve also been killing bugs and cleaning up our software to make adding new features and products easier. 2018 will be an exciting year for Formstack, and we can’t wait to show you what we have in store!
